What is a Pre Qualifying Questionnaire?
Answer: The pre qualification questionnaire is our online method of gathering and assessing your company’s information. The questions are pre weighted according to importance, and scored automatically behind the scenes.
The areas covered are:
• Company Profile and Plant Information
• Financials
• Quality
• Environmental and Policies
• Corporate Social Responsibility
• Agreement to our Terms and Conditions.
Once you complete the survey, we receive your scores and you receive an email informing you if you have been successful, and thus able to go to the next step (Which would be a tendering exercise)
You can update your details and resubmit your PQQ at any time by logging back in to your secure supplier area.
How will we know how well we are performing?
Answer: The Supplier Relationship Team assesses your performance on a regular basis. We record and report on a number of Key Performance Indicators that we agree with you in advance. We monitor your compliance in a number of areas such as colour management, environmental record and waste reduction. Should we identify any areas for improvement we will use our experience to work with you to ensure you perform at a consistently high level.
How long does it take to become an approved supplier?
Answer: : Supplier approval is a multi stage process. The initial assessment of your company’s suitability can be completed in a matter of days. Should you meet our criteria you are then asked to provide us with information regarding your costs. Following receipt of the cost information we create a supplier profile for you on our IQ system. The final step is to nominate you to American Express. They will ask you to supply files in a specific format and provide you with some training and once this is completed you are all set to start trading. As a general rule it usually takes 2 months to set a supplier up. However if a commodity is oversubscribed then it can take longer to gain approval
How do I sell our services to Communisis?
Answer: If you think you have something to offer Communisis please contact a member of our Supplier Relationship team and they will discuss potential opportunities with you. It may be your product or service is unique or has the potential to fill a niche. We may already be looking for more suppliers to fulfil current demand. We pride ourselves on the fact that we only deal with suppliers who meet our stringent criteria. If you have won awards for your products or services then we would really like to hear from you.
What are the benefits of payment via American Express?
Answer: By adopting American Express as the preferred payment method you will be paid within 5 working days. This is a significant boost to your company’s cash flow as you will be paid for your time and materials before you have to pay your supplier’s. Communisis also benefits from accurate management information and a reduction in the volume of transactions via the automation of the invoice process.
